Dr. Maurene Brown-Phillips is a retired banking professional, an author, Peace Ambassador, chaplain, mentor, consultant, and educator.
She holds a B.A. in Linguistics, B.A. in Theology, Master in Christian Education, and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters (Ph.D.) She also has certifications from Harvard University and Life Christian University.
Dr.Maurene is a Peace Ambassador to the United Nations for Word of Life Ministries International (WOLMI) and also serves as an adviser to its International Consultative Cabinet (ICC) on Education and North Eastern Affairs.
Dr. Maurene Brown-Phillips loves Christian education, loves to serve, and has a passion for humanity. This ignited passion led to the establishment of 'The Maurene Brown-Phillips Foundation for Teachers' at the Irene Menakaya School in Nigeria. She is the current Representative of Irene Menakaya School to the United Nations.
Currently, she is actively involved in Benevolent Missions in Zambia and has also sponsored an orphan at The Village of Hope Orphanage in Lusaka, Zambia.
Dr. Maurene Brown-Phillips is the recipient of the US President’s 2021 Volunteer Service Award.
